Raquel Baez

grew up between Miami, FL and Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic and considers herself to be influenced
by a mixture of different cultures. She began acting as a child
in school but did not truly pursue it until reaching college.
At Lynn University she participated in the first ever "24 hour
theatre project". This subsequently led to more acting
projects in student films and finally culminating with her
participation in the Broadway production. Besides acting,
Raquel also enjoys writing, and was given the opportunity
this year to direct her self-written play entitled “Bench Diaries”
at Lynn University. She will be graduating with a degree
in Communication this fall and hopes to continue to pursue
acting in the future.
