Samantha Bartley, multimedia
support, has been at Lynn University for the
past two years. Born and raised in Indiana,
Bartley chose to move to the sunny state to
attend college. Bartley recently graduated
from Lynn University with a 4.0 grade point
average with a bachelor of arts in
communication, a specialization in
advertising and public relations and a minor
in graphic design. Due to her rewarding
experience at Lynn, Bartley chose to
continue her education here and will be
graduating with her master of science in
communication and media this coming
December. Bartley has received numerous
awards while attending this institution
including: the Academic & Communication
Excellence 2008, Exoro Award, the Dean’s
Award for Excellence in Undergraduate
Communication and she recently received
accolades for developing the logo for the
Child Life Institute, a non-profit
organization. This past March, Bartley
presented a paper at the 2nd Annual South
Florida Undergraduate Communication Honors
Conference and will be presenting a paper
this November at the National Communication
Association’s 94th annual convention. During
the summer months, she assembled, edited and
published the 2008-2009 Lynn University
Academic Catalog and revised the 2008-2009
Lynn University Faculty Handbook. Not only
is she the multimedia support for the
iPulse, she also holds the position of
technical support for the College of
International Communication and web watcher
for the Office of Academic Affairs.
When Bartley has spare time she dabbles in
mixed martial arts (kenpo karate, tae kwon
do, muay thai kickboxing and ju jitsu,
mountain biking, ice skating, yoga,
snorkeling, kayaking and deep sea fishing.
However, Bartley’s newest endeavor and
passion is surfing.
